Ingredients
Method
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles. Press them together firmly along the perforated seams on the baking sheet to form one large, solid square or rectangle. Use your fingers to pinch any gaps so no cream cheese can leak through during baking.
- Sprinkle the sugar and cinnamon evenly over the raw dough. This adds a subtle crunch and flavor that prevents the plain dough from tasting bland.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. The center should also be set and lightly colored. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely on the pan. This step is non-negotiable; warm crust = melted topping.
- While the crust cools, beat the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla in a medium bowl until smooth and creamy. Ensure there are no lumps of cream cheese left.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the completely cooled crust using an offset spatula or the back of a spoon. Aim for a consistent layer about 1/4 inch thick.
- Arrange the strawberries, blueberries, and drained mandarin oranges on top in a decorative pattern. Pat the fruit dry with a paper towel if it looks wet to prevent sogginess.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before slicing. This helps the cream cheese set so you get clean cuts.

Notes
I keep this in my rotation because it feeds a crowd without requiring any actual baking skill or oven time after the initial crust bake. It’s perfect for potlucks or last-minute guests who want something sweet but not overly rich.
